is designed to target specific audiences, and to provide relevant advertising to the right markets. Visitors to your site will be rewarded with relevant product and service ads, courtesy of Facebook.

Tips For Maximizing Facebook Features

With so many great Facebook features to choose from, it can be helpful to know how to best utilize each tool to maximize your Facebook exposure and make your networks more powerful for social marketing.

Facebook Notes:
Using Facebook Notes, you can choose to import a RSS-syndicated site and the RSS feed will appear on your Facebook, along with appearing on the News Feed of all of your contacts. Pick your own blog, and syndicate it to all of your network contacts.

Mobile App: Now you can actually use your cell phone to set your Facebook status. By adding the “Mobile” app and registering your phone, you can send information to mobile@facebook.com. Use this method to add pictures, too.

Facebook Polls: Target any audience, with any particular demographics. Using the Business link at the bottom of your Facebook page, select “Facebook Polls” and create your own surveys. Target groups based on age, interests, or other demographic categories. These polls do require a small fee, $0.25 per response for the typical set-up.

Facebook Insights: Wondering how many people are included in a particular demographic category on Facebook? Facebook Insights allows you to filter members based on several demographics. Use the link offered through the Business link at the bottom of your Facebook page.

Status Updates: Subscribe to Status Updates to see what all of your friends are up to, and receive RSS feed updates constantly. After logging in, click on “See All” next to “Status Updates” and you will have the option to subscribe and add the updates to your RSS reader.

Tags: Tag anyone that is in any posted note, video, or photo. Although you might initially think that tags are limited to those people, you can actually tag anyone—so expand your list to include others in your network for further exposure.

SocialToo.com: If you register with this site, you can have your username automatically redirect visitors to your Facebook Profile. Increase your exposure, and give your friends and contacts an easy way to find you on Facebook. The more people that find you, the more networks you are exposed to and invited to join. This ultimately can result in a powerful way to increase traffic to your site, just from links that originate on your Facebook Profile.

Facebook Gifts: Users can send virtual gifts to any friends or network contacts. These gifts appear on the recipient’s profile. By purchasing these virtual gifts for $1.00 each, a personalized message can be attached.

Marketplace: Post free classified ads on Facebook using the Marketplace feature. These ads are only seen by users that are in your networks, but this can be a highly targeted audience and may be beneficial to your business.

Facebook is Free and Easy!

Facebook is free to all users, and is a great way to advertise yourself, your brand, your company, your products, or your services. Facebook is becoming a powerful way to use social marketing techniques and to generate links and traffic to your site. The many features and applications that are available with Facebook have made it a flexible and convenient way to establish or join networks, and build large online communities with similar interests. Get started with Facebook today, and find out just how powerful this social utility can be.

Going through this article, I could see the wealth of resources available in facebook. I think this article should be read over and over until every tool suggested there is mastered and utilized.

Thank you. I am sorry for lagging behind. I believe I will cash up it is due to problem with the generator that I use.
